6 The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Premuroso.

9 PRESENT: Mayor Premuroso, Vice Mayor Jablin, Council Member Russo, Council Member

13 Additions: Presentation by the North County Neighborhood Coalition
14 Deletions: Item c. Consent Agenda, purchase award to Xerox Corporation for the lease of
15 multifunctional printers and copiers.

17 Vice Mayor Jablin made a motion for approval of the Additions, Deletions, Modifications.

21 Presentation by Sal Faso, President, North County Neighborhood Coalition.
22 V. ITEMS OF RESIDENT INTEREST AND BOARD/COMMITTEE REPORTS
23 Council Member David Levy: announced teaching Environmental History.
24 Council Member Marcie Tinsley: attended the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council
25 meeting; annual Read for the Record; the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Committee
26 Meeting, recognized and thanked term-limited members Timothy Frohling and Arnie Schneider
27 for their service to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and the City of Palm Beach Gardens;
28 attended the Weiss School Garden Groundbreaking.
29 Council Member Joseph Russo: attended the Soccer Opening; annual Read for the Record;
30 announced wearing a pink shirt for October Breast Cancer Awareness month.
31 Vice Mayor Eric Jablin: attended Read for the Record and gave congratulations to Christy
32 Murphy and staff at Riverside Community Center; announced October 6th is the opening of the 11th
33 year of the Green Market and thanked Joel Channing for the successful summer green market.
34 Mayor Robert Premuroso: attended the North County Intergovernmental meeting with
35 Commissioner Valeche on September 23rd; the St. Marks Ribbon Cutting event; annual Read for
36 the Record; announced October is golf month for the Mayor, October 5th is the Palm Beach Gardens
37 Police Foundation Tournament at PGA National; October 18th is the Palm Beach Gardens High
38 School Baseball Tournament; October 16th is the Chamber of Commerce breakfast at the Jupiter
39 Beach Resort and Spa; October 22nd the Women in Business Council from the Palm Beach
40 Chamber of Commerce will have their Annual Women of the Year Luncheon; October 25th is the
41 Rooney Foundation Golf Tournament at PGA National; announced the Soccer Opening was a great
42 event.
43 VI. CITY MANAGER REPORT
44 Announced the Green Market will have 120 vendors this year; recognized the Fire Explorers Post
45 705 for their National Excellence Achievement Award; recognized Ross Gilmore, GIS Technician,
46 for his excellent photography services to the City; announced an enhancement to the online agenda;
47 the October 16, 2013 4:00 -7:00 p.m. public meeting at the DoubleTree Hotel regarding the
48 proposed Spring Training Project, 1,800 resident mail-outs and Frequently asked questions will be
49 posted onto the website October 14th or 15th.
