6 The regular meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Buckley.
7 I. CALL TO ORDER
8 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
9 III. ROLL CALL
10 PRESENT: Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Arnie Schneider, Timothy Frohling, William
11 Sonnenreich, Christopher Dinolfo.
12 ABSENT: Howard Nass, Jacob Noble.
13 ALSO PRESENT:
14 Council Liaison, Council Member Marcie Tinsley; Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Laura
15 Schuppert.
16 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS
17 None.
18 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES from the January 28, 2013 meeting.
19 Board Member Schneider made a motion to approve the January 28, 2013 meeting minutes.
20 Board Member Sonnenreich seconded.
21 Motion passed 5-0.
22 VI. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIASON
23 Council Liaison, Council Member Tinsley advised the board that the softball, soccer and all of the
24 City's fields are used a lot and suggested considering artificial turf for the fields to keep them from
25 having down time.
26 Chair Buckley requested an update on the Newtown Connecticut memorial discussed at the
27 January 28, 2013 meeting.
28 Council Liaison, Council Member Tinsley advised there is an upcoming meeting in which the
29 memorial will be discussed.
30 VII. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
31 Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Laura Schuppert advised that the Compassionate Friends
32 Reflective Gardens will be meeting on Wednesday night, May 22, 2013, to talk about the design.

37 X. COMMENTS BY THE PUBLIC

39 XI. COMMENTS BY THE BOARD
40 Board Member Frohling expressed there have been many events in the last few months in the
41 City and he has heard nothing but positive things. He gave his congratulations to all.
42 A. SET QUARTERLY MEETING DATE
43 (July 22, August 19, September 23, 2013)
44 There was consensus of the board to select July 22, 2013 as the quarterly meeting date.
