20 Council Member Tinsley made a motion for approval of the Bus Shelter Project, Option
21 Number 1.

24 V. ITEMS OF RESIDENT INTEREST AND BOARD/COMMITTEE REPORTS
25 Council Member David Leyy: announced both Palm Beach Gardens high schools are in the
26 football championships and are regional champions; December 7th is the Veterans Day Mayor
27 Classic, Golf Tournament; announced Nelson Mandela passed away today.
28 Council Member Marcie Tinsley: attended the League of Cities Meeting and was appointed
29 once again to the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council for this coming year; received a
30 picture for recognition for the Council for participation in read for the record, attended the
31 Jewish Community Center (JCC) dedication ceremony and grand opening gala; PGA National
32 Veterans Plaza dedication; North Palm Beach Veterans Park dedication; announced Palm Beach
33 Gardens High School will be singing at Epcot December 8th & 9th; attended Easter Seals
34 planning session for fund raiser coming in March, Scripps North Palm Beach Chamber Business
35 Before Hours, Recreation Advisory Board Meeting, Art in Public Places Meeting, announced the
36 Police Department is collecting toys for local children in need of holiday cheer and asked
37 everyone to donate toys; attended the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Community Center and
38 praised staff for doing such a wonderful job; filed for election.
39 Council Member Joseph Russo: announced the golf course is reopening next week; Honda
40 Classic tickets are available; shared positive thoughts on Scripps and their research; wished
41 everyone a happy holiday season; invited everyone to come Sunday at 5:00 p.m. to the
42 community center for the Christmas caroling event.
43 Vice Mayor Eric Jablin: agreed with positive thoughts on Scripps and their research; attended
44 the PGA Park Dedication in PGA National and Veterans Ball; attended the Tree Lighting
45 Ceremony; announced the Betty Marks Sand Hill Crane statue is now at the golf course; wished
46 everyone happy holidays and a happy New Year.
4 7 Mayor Robert Premuroso: announced the Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association are
48 football state champions in Tampa; recognized the Big Heart Brigade; announced the Holiday

1 Bazaar will be held on December 7th and 8th and the Green Market will be held on Sunday
2 December 8th as well; announced December 7th is the Veterans Day Mayor Classic Golf
3 Tournament; December 6th is the Juno Beach 911 Dedication and Unveiling.
4 VI. CITY MANAGER REPORT
5 Announced October was City-wide Customer Service which was coordinated through the
6 Human Resources Department for all employees
7 Human Resources Administrator, Sheryl Stewart provided a summary of the training and
8 introduced Human Resources Records Clerk. Brooke Borden.
9 Staff presentation: Human Resources Records Clerk. Brooke Borden provided an overview
10 of the Customer Service Training provided to all City employees.
11 Announced that over the past couple of years Council has budgeted and implemented energy
12 savings measures in City facilities; staff is working with Florida Power and Light on a program
13 to use during the summer months to cut down on energy consumption; currently waiting for the
14 baseball teams responses before the end of the year.

to the special private gain or loss of a business associate. Cornmssi.oners of community redevelopment agencies under Sec. 163.356 or
163.357, F.S., and officers of independent special tax cistricts elected on a one-acre, one-vote~ are not prohibited from voting in that
capacity.
For purposes of this law, a •relative• includes only 1he officer's falher, mother, son. daughter, husband, wife, brother, sister, father-in-law,
mother-in-law, son-in-law, and daughter-irHaw. A "business associate• means any person or entity engaged in or carrying on a business
enterprise with the officer as a partner, joint ven1urer, coowner of property, or corporate shareholder (where the shares of the corporation
are not listed on any national or regional stock exchange).

For purposes of this law, a •relative" includes only the olfice(s falher. mother, son, daughter, husband, wife, brother, sister, father-in-law,
mother-in-law, son-in-law, and daughter-in-taw. A •business associate" mealS any person or entity engaged in or carrying on a business
enterprise with 1he officer as a partner, joint venturer, coowner of property, or corporate sharehol~ (where 1he shares of the corporation
