SUBJECT: Development Review Committee (DRC) for Petitions CUMJ-14-04-000031 and
PPUD-14-04-000035 – City-initiated request to rezone the existing Fire Station #2
site from Public/Institutional (P/I) to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay
with an underlying zoning designation of Public/Institutional (P/I), site plan, and
major conditional use approval to replace Fire Station #2.
Please provide your comments on the subject DRC petition no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, May
30, 2014. Your comments must be forwarded to my attention by that date and time so that written
comments can be given to the applicant in accordance with the timeframes established in the City’s
Land Development Code. Should you have no comments, please indicate so in a memo. Additional
copies of the complete application are available in the Planning & Zoning Department.

MEETING DATE:
A Development Review Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 10:00
a.m., in the City Hall Lobby Conference Room to review the following development application:
PALM BEACH GARDENS PETITION NUMBER PPUD-14-04-000035 and CUMJ-14-04-
000031
A City-initiated request to rezone the existing fire station #2 site from Public/Institutional (P/I) to a
Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay with an underlying zoning designation of P/I, site plan, and
major condition use approval to replace the existing fire station. The site is located on the northwest
corner of the intersection of Campus Drive and RCA Boulevard. The existing fire station will be
removed and replaced by a new fire station. There will be no increase in the number of employees or
fire trucks.
