PALM BEACH GARDENS PETITION NO. PPUD-14-05-000036 and CUMJ-14-05-000032
A request by Home Away From Home Learning Center III Corporation for a rezoning from CG-1 to a
Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay with an underlying zoning designation of CG-1, Site Plan,
and a Major Conditional Use approval to accommodate an expansion to the existing Home Away From
Home Learning Center, currently located at the northeast corner of Military Trail and Mary’s Circle.
The day care currently has 158 children and is proposing to increase enrollment to a total of 205
children. The existing day care building is being proposed to be increased from 9,091 square feet to
12,424 square feet, for an increase of 3,333 square feet, with an outdoor play area of 10,020 square
feet. The site plan includes a vacant lot to the south across Mary’s Circle that will accommodate the
additional parking requirements due to the building expansion. There are 27 parking spaces proposed
for the vacant lot (11 parking spaces will be located on the existing day care parcel).
Thank you for your ongoing cooperation and assistance. Please contact me at (561) 799-4219 should
