SUBJECT: Development Review Committee (DRC) Meeting for Petition SPLA-14-06-000035 for site
plan modifications to Northlake Commons for a new stand-alone retail store for Jo-Ann
Fabric and Crafts, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM. The subject site is located at
the southeast corner of Interstate-95 and Northlake Boulevard.
Please provide your comments on the subject DRC petition no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday,
August 1, 2014. Your comments must be forwarded to my attention by that date and time so that
written comments can be given to the applicant in accordance with the timeframes established in the
City’s Land Development Code. Should you have no comments, please indicate so in a memo.
Additional copies of the complete application are available in the Planning & Zoning Department.

A Development Review Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM in
the Palm Beach Gardens Lobby Conference Room to review the following application:
Petition SPLA-14-06-000035 requesting site plan modifications to Northlake Commons for a new
stand-alone retail store for Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts:
A request on behalf of the property owner, DDRM Northlake Commons LLC, to allow for the
demolition of 23,168 sf of building D (which is currently 30,982 s.f.), and to rebuild 25,059 s.f. as
a stand-alone retail store for Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts, and the related site modifications. The
subject site is located at the southeast corner of Interstate-95 and Northlake Boulevard. The subject
property is currently zoned CG-1 and has a future land use designation of Commercial. The
property is also located within the Northlake Boulevard Overlay Zone.
