7 The regular meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m. by Chair Buckley.

11 PRESENT: Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Maryanne Hedrick, Howard Nass, William
12 Sonnenreich, Christopher Dinolfo , Carol Dutra Ellis.

15 Council Liaison, Council Member Marcie Tinsley; Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Laura

17 IV. INTRODUCTIONS OF THE PBGY AA EXECUTIVE BOARD:
18 Jacob Webb, President of the PBGYAA introduced PBGYAA Executive Board Members
19 Robert Coleman, Lisa Jaloski, Tony Badala, Amanda Ratcliffe, Damian Murray, Wendy
20 Throop, Christine Davis, and member at large Ellen Kanfer.
21 V. FUNCTIONS OF THE RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD AND PBGYAA
22 EXECUTIVE BOARD
23 Recreation Director Laura Schuppert gave a brief presentation of the functions of the
24 Recreation Advisory Board; Jacob Webb provided a brief presentation of the role of the
25 PBG Y AA Executive Board
26 Vl. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIASON
27 Council Liaison, Council Member Marcie Tinsley
28 Thanked everyone for attending the meeting; Met with Palm Beach County Commissioner Hal
29 Valeche regarding the County park on Central Boulevard. Discussion ensued.
30 Vli. PRESENTATION OF OUTDOOR SPORTS FIELD OPERATIONS AND
31 MAINTENANCE STRATEGY
32 Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Laura Schuppert provided a presentation on the field
33 operations and maintenance of the field. Discussion ensued.
34 VIII. FIELD CLOSURE SCHEDULE
35 Operations Manager Justin Lucas provided a presentation on the closure of the fields for
36 maintenance and to "rest" the fields. Discussion ensued.
37 IX. DISCUSSION AND PRIORITY CENSUS
38 The Recreation Advisory Board and PBGY AA discussed the board priorities regarding the
39 fields. Discussion ensued.
