ITEMS OF RESIDENT INTEREST AND BOARD/COMMITTEE REPORTS 26 Council Member David Leyy: Attended the Palm Beach County League of Cities monthly 27 meeting where they appointed Council Member Tinsley to the Treasure Coast Regional 28 Planning Council; Announced the City bad a wonderful tree lighting event and thanked staff for 29 a great job and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center for sponsoring the event. 30 Council Member Marcie Tinsley: Attended the Nine to Wine Ladies Only Mayor's Golf 31 Tournament; Veteran's Day Concert; Luncheon at the Scripp's Institute; Education Advisory 32 Committee; Recreation Advisory Board Meeting; Business Development Board luncheon; 33 Recognized the two champion and three finalist teams in the Palm Beach Soccer League Early 34 Season Playoffs; wished everyone a Happy Holiday season. 35 Council Member Joseph Russo: Attended luncheon at the Scripp's Institute; Big Heart 36 Brigade and thanked Tom DeRita the organization for the service they provide to the 37 community; Announced Betty Sither is having a Christmas caroling event on Sunday, December 38 7, 2014; Honda Class received the Providencia Award and the PGA Tour Award for the Most 39 Family Friendly Event; Honda Classic was in the top two of viewership on the PGA Tour; 40 Wished everyone a Happy Holiday and a Happy and healthy New Year. 41 Vice Mayor Eric Jablin: Thanked staffed for the tree lighting event. Announced Hanukah 42 begins on December 17ih and the lighting ofthe menorah will begin on December 16th; Wished 43 everyone a Happy Holiday and great New Year. 44 Mayor Robert Premuroso: Attended the Veteran's Day Program at Duncan Middle School; 45 City's Veteran's Day event was fantastic and thanked staff for their work on the event; Big Heart 46 Brigade was a great event that prepared 75,000 meals, thanked Tom DeRita and the organization 47 for the event; Christmas tree lighting was a great event and thanked Palm Beach Gardens 48 Medical Center for sponsoring the event; Palm Beach Gardens High School placed 9th in a CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING 12-()4-14 PAGE 1 I nationwide contest sponsored by State Farm Insurance about not texting and driving and Palm 2 Beach Gardens High School won $25,000; Wished everyone a great holiday season and Happy 3 NewYear. 4 VI. CITY MANAGER REPORT 5 Provided a brief presentation on the status of the Stonnwater Infrastructure Mapping and 6 Inspection and Buttercup Circle swales and culvert repairs; Reported City received positive 7 publicity from the local media on Automated Tactical Analysis of Crime Regional Analysis of 8 Information Data Sharing (ATAC RAIDS); Thanked Planning and Zoning Director Natalie 9 Crowley on a great job at the Business Development Board Forum; Announced the Palm Beach I 0 Gardens 3I st Annual Holiday Bazaar will be held on Friday December 5th and Saturday II December 6th; Holiday Joy Drive by the Police Department and the Palm Beach Gardens Police I2 Foundation is being held now through December 24th providing toys for under privilege I3 children, need volunteers to come and wrap gifts. MUNICIPAL AND OTHER LOCAL PUBLIC OFFICERS WHO MUST FILE FORM 88 This form is for use by any person serving at the county, city, or other local level of government on an appointed or elected board, council, commission, authority, or committee. It applies equally to members of advisory and non-advisory bodies who are presented with a voting conflict of interest under Section 112.3143, Florida Statutes. Your responsibilities under the law when faced with voting on a measure in which you have a conflict of interest will vary greatly depending on whether you hold an elective or appointive position.
