7 The regular meeting was called to order at 6:01p.m. by Chair Buckley.
8 I. CALL TO ORDER

11 PRESENT: Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Carol Dutra Ellis, Bruce Bonvento, Maria
12 Marino, Christopher Dinolfo, Joseph Mullings.
13 ABSENT: Maryanne Hedrick.
14 ALSO PRESENT:
15 Council Liaison, Council Member Marcie Tinsley; Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Laura
16 Schuppert.
17 IV. INTRODUCTIONS OF PBGY AA EXECUTIVE BOARD:
18 Robert Coleman, President of the PBY AA introduced PBGY AA Executive Board Members,
19 Meredith Krar, Dorian Hawkins, Damien Murray, and member at large Ellen Kanfer.
20 V. UPDATE ON PBGYAA PROGRAMS AND PARTICIPANTS
21 Recreation Supervisor Tim Ford provided a presentation on the participation in the PBGY AA
22 programs. Discussion ensued.
23 VI. UPDATE ON FIELD DRAINAGE PROJECT
24 Operation Manager Matthew Eggerman provided a presentation on the status of the field
25 drainage project. Discussion ensued.
26 VII. FIELD CLOSURE SCHEDULE DISCUSSION AND PRESENTATION FOR 15/16
27 CALENDAR
28 Operations Manager Daniel Prieto provided a presentation on the closure of the fields for
29 maintenance and to "rest" the fields. Discussion ensued.
30 VIII. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON
31 Council Liaison, Council Member Marcie Tinsley
32 Thanked everyone for attending the meeting; Reported positive results occurred as a result of
33 previous meetings with RAB and PBGY AA; Announced she will continue to be an advocate for
34 Park and Recreation Facilities; Discussed result of the resident survey; Reported she met with
35 Palm Beach County Commissioner Hal Valeche regarding the District Park property on Central
36 Boulevard. Encouraged Board members to write letters to County Commissioners in support of
3 7 building and funding the District Park.
38 IX. COMMENTS BY THE PUBLIC
39 David Tadros, 8435 Man O'War Road, Palm Beach Gardens.
40 X. COMMENTS BY THE BOARD
41 Robert Coleman, President of the PBGYAA announced on May 29, 2015 the PBGYAA is
42 hosting a Wine, Dine, and Music Event at Nova Southeastern University; Board Member
43 Bonvento announced that the City's Golf Professional Sheri Pia was selected to be inducted into
44 the African American Golfer's Hall of Fame; Board Member Ellis inquired about the status of
45 the Futsal program; Inquired about collaborating with semi-professional leagues for kids.

Board Member Marino made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Board Member Mullings seconded.
Motion passed 6-0.
Chair Buckley adjourned the meeting at 7:14p.m.
