6 The regular meeting was called to order at 7:29p.m. by Chair Buckley.
7 I. CALL TO ORDER

10 PRESENT: Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Carol Dutra Ellis, Bruce Bonvento, Maria
11 Marino, Christopher Dinolfo, Joseph Mullings.

14 Council Liaison, Council Member Marcie Tinsley; Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Laura
15 Schuppert.
16 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS
17 None.
18 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES from the March 2, 2015 meeting.
19 Vice Chair Ellis made a motion to approve the March 2, 2015 Minutes.
20 Board Member Dinolfo seconded.
21 Motion passed 6-0.
22 VI. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIASON
23 Council Liaison, Council Member Marcie Tinsley
24 Referred to comments made during the Joint Meeting with the PBGY AA at 6:00 p.m.
25 VII. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
26 Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Laura Schuppert
27 Announced there will be a Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Plaza on Monday, May 25,
28 2015 at 9:00a.m.
29 VIII. OLD BUSINESS
30 a. City Park Tennis Center Parking Improvements
31 Recreation Director Laura Schuppert provided a brief presentation on the Tennis Center
32 Parking Improvements. Discussion ensued.
33 b. Field Drainage Initiative
34 Presentation was provided during the joint meeting with the PBGY AA on at 6:00 p.m.
35 c. Mirasol Playground/Fitness Project
36 Recreation Director Laura Schuppert provided a status and presented a video on the Mirasol
37 Playground/Fitness Project. Discussion ensued.
38 d. Pickleball Courts provided a brief presentation on the status of courts for Picldeball.
39 Discussion ensued.
40 IX. NEW BUSINESS
41 a. Park History Presentation
42 Recreation Director Laura Schuppert announced Golf Director Michael Kelly will be
43 retiring July 1, 2015 and thanked him for his service to the City. Ground Superintendent
44 Michael Kelly provided a presentation on the history of development of the City Parks and
45 Recreation Facilities. Discussion ensued.
