6 The regular meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. by Mayor Jablin.

9 PRESENT: Mayor Jablin, Vice Mayor Levy, Councilmember Russo, Councilmember
10 Premuroso, Councilmember Tinsley.
11 ABSENT: None.
12 III. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS
13 Mayor Jablin requested that Item C under Announcements/Presentations be moved to Item A.
14 Vice Mayor Levy made a motion to move Item C to Item A.
15 Councilmember Tinsley seconded.
16 Motion passed 5-0.
17 IV. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS
18 a. PALM BEACH COUNTY'S PROPOSED I-CENT SALES TAX INCREASE
19 b. DESIGN BUILD OF NEW GOLF CLUBHOUSE
20 c. RECOGNITION OF BARBARA NICKLAUS -NICKLAUS CHILDREN'S HEALTH

22 V. ITEMS OF RESIDENT INTEREST AND BOARD/COMMITTEE REPORTS
23 Vice Mayor David Levy: Reiterated the importance of the softball field being dedicated to
24 Tory Buckley; Attended the Baseball Grand Opening; Announced the Baseball IO and under
25 World Series will be played in Palm Beach Gardens; Wished everyone Happy St. Patrick's Day ;
26 Thanked Councilmember Russo for his service and he will be missed.
27 Councilmember Marcie Tinsley: Attended Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council
28 Meeting; Thanked Planning and Zoning Director Natalie Crowley for her presentation on the
29 Avenir Project; Attended the Softball Grand Opening and one of the fields was dedicated to Tory
30 Buckley; Attended the Fire Station 2 Grand Opening; Attended the Ground Breaking for the
31 Police Tactical Center; Attended the Florida Department of Transportation Central Blvd and I-95
32 Workshop; Attended the Honda Classic and thanked staff for all their hard work; Thanked
33 Council Member Russo for his service on the council and he will be missed.
34 Councilmember Joseph Russo: Reported the Honda Classic was a great success; Thanked
35 residents and staff for their help, assistance, and hard work during his tenure as a City Council
36 member; Highlighted major events and developments in the City during his tenure. Gave advice
37 to future council members.
38 Councilmember Robert Premuroso: Nothing to report. Deferred his time to Councilmember
39 Russo.
40 Mayor Eric Jablin: Thanked Operations Manager Christy Wolnewitz for her hard work on the
41 10-year anniversary of Dancing with the Stars; Thanked Florida Power and Light for their
42 sponsorship of the event and Island Grill for the food and drinks for the event. Thanked
43 Councilmember Russo for his service and leadership during his tenure on the Council.

9 VII. CITY MANAGER REPORT
10 a . FLAX COURT UPDATE -Provided an update on the outstanding permit issues for 4385
11 Flax Court.
12 b. SHADY LAKES DRIVE UPDATE -Provided an update on the status of the Shady Lakes
13 Extension project.
14 Announced in February the Police Department was reaccredited by the Commission for Florida
15 Law Enforcement Accreditation and received the Excelsior Recognition. Recognized and
16 thanked Accreditation Manager Sam Dobson for his hard work during the process.

18 a. APPROVE MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY 4, 2016 CITY COUNCIL MEETING.
19 b. RESOLUTION 16, 2016 -PNC BANK AT THE CITY CENTRE PLAT. A RESOLUTION
20 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA
21 APPROVING THE CITY CENTRE II REPLAT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND
22 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
23 c. RESOLUTION 22, 2016 -RFP2015-024GF, DESIGN BUILD OF NEW GOLF
24 CLUBHOUSE. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
