A Development Re -,riew Committee (DRC) meeting will be held on Thursday, February ic), 200A at
2:00 P.m., in the City Council Chambers to review and disseminate the following development
application.
Briger Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Application: A request from Mr. Kenneth Tuma
of Urban Design Kilday Studios, on behalf of the property owners, for approval of a mixed use
development planned for 681 acres of land located within the City of Palm Beach Gardens corporate
limits. The proposed planned community will be focused on the biotechnology and bioscience research
industries. The project proposes 1.6 million square feet of biotech research and development space for the
second phase of the Scripps Florida campus along with residential and commercial uses on site. The
subject site is located south of Donald Ross Road and is divided into two parcels by Interstate 95•
Our office requests your participation in the review of this project. Please review this request and attend
the meeting if possible. Receiving your comments prior to the meeting will provide staff with the ability to
give proper direction to the applicant. A CD -ROM of the Application for Development Approval (ADA)
has been provided to you at the kickoff meeting held January 28, 2009. If you did not receive a disk please
contact me and I will provide you with one.
