MISC-17-02-000133: LILAC VILLAGE SIGNAGE, SITE AND LANDSCAPE
IMPROVEMENT
A petition by FLF Lilac, LLC requesting approval of two residential entry signs, and site
and landscape improvements. The subject property is located on the north side of Lilac
Street, 0.15 miles east of North Military Trail.

Project History & Background
•May 1, 1965 –plat for Golfer’s Village was recorded
•October 17, 1966 –Ordinance 22, 1966: rezoning approximately 18.5 acres of
Golfer’s Village from “R-2” to “Community Unit Plans”. Project was originally
developed by Fine Builders, Inc., and consists of 66 lots with duplex units, and two
central common area parcels (Parcel A and Parcel B)
•New owner is investing in the revitalization of the existing dwelling units by renovating
the exterior of the structures, painting the exterior of the homes, and replacing roofs
and mailboxes
•Future plans include replacing windows, new landscaping for residential lots, and a new
irrigation system
•March 13, 2017 –Renaming of the subject neighborhood from Golfer’s Village to
Lilac Village approved –rebranding and revitalization initative
