7 The regular meeting was called to order at 8:31 a.m. by Chair Feldmesser.
8 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
9 III. ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE
10 Assistant to the City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to Andrew Co miter and David
11 Middleton.
12 IV. ROLL CALL
13 PRESENT: Chair Mark Feldmesser, Vice-Chair Dennis Beran, Mark Schulte, Andrew Comiter,
14 David Middleton.
15 ABSENT: None.
16 ALSO PRESENT: Finance Administrator, Staff Liaison Allan Owens; Deputy Finance
17 Administrator, Alternate Staff Liaison Mary Anderson-Pickle.
18 V. ELECTION OF OFFICERS:
19 a. Election of Chair
20 Vice Chair Beran nominated Mark Feldmesser for Chair.
21 Board Member Schulte seconded.
22 Nomination passed 5-0.
23 b . Election of Vice Chair
24 Chair Feldmesser nominated Dennis Beran for Vice-Chair.
25 Board Member Schulte seconded.
26 Nomination passed 5-0.
27 VI. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS
28 None.
29 VII. APPROVAL OF MINUTES for the August 18, 2016 Meeting.
30 Board Member Schulte made a motion to approve the August 18, 2016 Minutes.
31 Vice Chair Beran seconded.
32 Motion passed 5-0.
33 VIII. BOARD ORIENTATION
34 Orientation for Board Members was conducted by Assistant City Attorney Abigail Jorandby.
35 IX. REGULAR AGENDA.
36 A. ONE CENT SALES SURTAX REVIEW
37 Community Services Administrator/Director of Public Management David Reyes presented
38 an overview of the City's one cent sales tax proposal. Discussion ensued.
39 8. BUDGET REVIEW -FY 2018 BUDGET CALENDAR
40 Deputy Finance Administrator Mary Anderson-Pickle presented the FY2018 Budget
41 calendar to board members. Discussion ensued.
