CITY MANAGER REPORT 2 Announced the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue Department received the American Heart 3 Association's Mission Lifeline EMS Gold Plus Award for the 3rd consecutive year. Falm Beach 4 Gardens is the first agency in Palm Beach County to receive this award; The Finance 5 Department received the Distinguished Budget Presentation A ward for the current budget from 6 the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the 20th consecutive year. The City 7 received an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) matching grant award of $30,000 to purchase 8 on-site training for 112 sworn police officers in Tactical Combat Casualty Care. Provided 9 "Before and After" pictures of Code Compliance cases throughout the City. Thanked Code 10 Compliance staff for their diligence. Announced the Weather the Storm Readiness Event will be 11 held on Thursday, June 8th from 6pm-8pm at Veterans Plaza. 12 VIII.
