7 The regular meeting was called to order at 8:35 a.m. by Chair Feldmesser.

19 Board Member Coniiter made a motion to approve the May 25, 2017 meeting Minutes.
20 Board Member Schulte seconded.

24 1. Review Expenditures

26 Provided an update on the expenditures for the One Cent Sales Surtax. Discussion ensued.

30 Announced the City received a AAA rating from Fitch Ratings.
31 2. FY 2016 Audit

33 Provided a presentation on the audit from City Auditor Marcum LLP. Announced the City
34 received no management letter recommendations, no adjusting journal entries were proposed, no
35 deficiencies in internal control noted, and no instances of noncompliance with law, regulations,
36 grants, or contracts.
37 3. Status of FY 2018 Budget Preparation
38 Finance Administrator, Staff Liaison Allan Owens
39 Announced the City received the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished
40 Budget Presentation Award for the 20th year in a row. Provided an update on the FY2018 Budget
41 Preparation. Discussion ensued.
42 Deputy Finance Administrator, Mary Anderson-Pickle
43 Reviewed the line item budget format with the board from the City's website. Discussion ensued.
