6 The regular meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m. by Chair Hansen.

19 Reported at the September 25, 2017 City Council meeting the City Council approved the
20 Floodplain Management ordinances.
21 VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
22 Board Member Savel made a motion to approve the August 8, 2017 meeting minutes.
23 Vice Chari Rosenkranz seconded.
24 Motion passed 7-0.
25 Board Member Savel made a motion to approve the September 19, 2017 meeting minutes.
26 Vice Chair Rosenkranz seconded.
27 Motion passed 7-0.
28 Chair Hansen asked for any ex parte.

32 1. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) LDRA-17-05-000062: LDR
33 Amendment to add an Electric Automobile Showroom as a Permitted Use and Prohibit the
34 Use in PGA Overlay -An applicant-initiated request to amend Section 78-159, Table 21:
35 Permitted, Conditional, and Prohibited Uses, to add an Electric Automobile Showroom use as a
36 Major Conditional Use in the General Commercial (CGl) and Intensive Commercial (CO2) zoning
37 districts; Section 78-221, PGA Boulevard Corridor Overlay, to prohibit Electric Automobile
38 Showroom within the PGA Boulevard Corridor Overlay; and Section 78-751, Definitions, to define
39 Electric Automobile Showroom, Electric Automobile, Direct DealerN ehicle Manufacturer, and
40 Hybrid Vehicle.
41 Chair Hansen opened the public hearing.

4 2. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing)-QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING
5 CUMJ-17-05-000046: Major Conditional Use for an Electric Automobile Showroom at the
6 Gardens Mall -A request from Gardens Venture LLC for a Major Conditional Use approval to
7 allow an Electric Automobile Showroom use within the Gardens Mall. The petition also includes
8 the designation of 8 reserved parking spaces and 18 electric vehicle charging spaces in the parking
9 area of the Gardens Mall. The Gardens Mall is generally located north of PGA Boulevard, east of
IO Fairchild Gardens Avenue, south of Gardens Parkway, and west of Kew Gardens Avenue
11 Chair Hansen opened the public hearing.

20 3. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) -LDRA-17-09-000068: LDR
21 Amendment to Chapter 62 for Wireless Facilities Amending Chapter 62 of the City's Code of
22 Ordinances to provide for the collocation of small wireless facilities or micro wireless facilities
23 on existing utility poles or the installation of new utility poles to support the collocation of small
24 wireless facilities or micro wireless facilities in City-owned rights-of-way and amending the
25 definitions to be consistent with Florida Statutes.
26 Chair Hansen opened the public hearing.
27 Petitioner: None.

29 Public comment: None.
30 Chair Hansen closed the public hearing.
31 Vice Chair Rosenkranz made a motion to recommend to City Council LDRA-17-09-000068.
32 Board Member Savel seconded.
33 Motion passed 6-0.
34 VIII. OLD BUSINESS

36 IX. NEW BUSINESS
37 Reminded the board members to RSVP with staff for the Transit Oriented Design Workshop on
38 Thursday October 19, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. Discussion ensued. Reported Planning Manager Peter
39 Hofheinz and his wife had a second baby, Benjamin on September 30, 2017.
