CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Hansen. II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE III. ROLL CALL .. Members Present: Chair Randolph Hansen, Vice Chair Michael Panczak (arrived at 6:01 p.m.), Carl Sabatello, L. Marc Cohn, John Glidden, Roma Josephs, Christopher Oftedal (sitting in for Debra Canney) Members Absent: Debra Canney. Also Present: Assistant City Attorney, Abigail Joranby; A~ting Director of Planning and Zoning, Planning Manager Peter Hofheinz. IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS None. V. REPORT BY ACTING DIRECTOR OF PLANNNING AND ZONING: PLANNING MANAGER, PETER HOFHEINZ: Reported Planning and Zoning Director Natalie Crowley gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Reported at the December 7, 2017 City Council meeting, the City Council approved the Major Conditional Use and text amendment to allow an electric automobile showroom use within the Gardens Mall. VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Board Member Josephs made a motion to approve the November 14, 2017 meeting minutes. Vice Chair Panczak seconded. Motion passed 7-0. VII. PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) CPTA-17-08-000031 -City initiated Comprehensive Plan Text Update to the 5-Year Capital Improvements Plan A City-initiated request to update the Capital Improvements Element (CIE) of the City's Comprehensive Plan to update the 5-Year Schedule of Capital Improvements (Table 9A) and Summary of Capital Improvements Program for Palm Beach County School Board (Table 9B), in accordance with Section 163 .3177(3)( a)5 .(b ), Florida Statutes. Chair Hansen opened the public hearing. Petitioner: None. Staff Presentation: Senior Planner, Dawn Sonneborn. Public comment: None. Chair Hansen closed the public hearing. Vice Chair Panczak made a motion to recommend to City Council CPTA-17-08-000031. Board Member Glidden seconded. Motion passed 7-0. VIII. OLD BUSINESS 44 None. 45 IX.
