CALL TO ORDER 6 The regular meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Vice Chair Panczak. 7 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 8 III. ROLL CALL 9 Members Present: 1 o Vice Chair Michael Panczak, Carl Sabatello, L. Marc Cohn, Roma Josephs, Debra Canney, 11 Christopher Oftedal (sitting in for Randy Hansen) 12 Members Absent: Chair Randy Hansen, John Glidden. 13 Also Present: Assistant City Attorney, Abigail Joranby; Director of Planning and Zoning, Natalie 14 Crowley. 15 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS 16 None. 17 V. REPORT BY ACTING DIRECTOR OF PLANNNING AND ZONING: 18 PLANNING MANGER PETER HOFHEINZ 19 Reported at the February I, 2018 City Council meeting the City Council approved the Capital 20 Improvements Element update was approved on second reading and the voluntary annexation for 21 12220/12194 Alternate AJA was approved on first reading. 22 VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23 Board Member Josephs made a motion to approve the January 9, 2018 meeting minutes. 24 Board Member Oftedal seconded. 25 Motion passed 6-0. 26 Vice Chair Panczak asked for any ex-parte. 27 None. 28 VII. PUBLIC HEARINGS 29 Those preparing to give testimony were sworn in. 30 1. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) -QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING - 31 PUDA-17-06-000067 -The Cooper Restaurant at PGA Commons PUDA -A request from 32 PGA Commons 2, LLC, and PGA Commons 3, LLC, to allow the replacement of existing fabric 33 awnings with a louvered metal awning system at The Cooper Restaurant in the PGA Commons 34 Planned Unit Development (PUD). The subject site is located on the south side of PGA Boulevard, 35 approximately one-half mile west of Military Trail. 36 Vice Chair Panczak opened the public hearing. 37 Petitioner: Anne Booth, Urban Design Kilday Studios 38 Staff Presentation: None. Staff recommends approval ofPUDA-17-06-000067. 39 Public comment: None. 40 Vice Chair Panczak closed the public hearing. 41 Board Member Sabatello made a motion to recommend to City Council PUDA-17-06-000067. 42 Board Member Josephs seconded. 43 Motion passed 5-1. 44 Board Member Oftedal opposed. 45 VIII.
