I. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Hansen.

Canney, Christopher Oftedal (sitting in for John Glidden)
Members Absent: John Glidden, Carl Sabatello
Also Present: Assistant City Attorney, Abigail Joranby; Director of Planning and Zoning, Natalie
Crowley.

VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Vice Chair Panczak made a motion to approve the February 13, 201 8 meeting minutes.
Board Member Oftedal seconded.
Motion passed 6-0.
Chair Hansen asked for any ex-parte.
None.
VII. PUBLIC HEARINGS
Those preparing to give testimony were sworn in.
1. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) -QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING
MISC-17-11-000137 -Frenchman's Reserve Country Club Flag Pole -A request from
Frenchman's Reserve Country Club, Inc. to approve the installation of a 50-foot-tall flagpole and an
8-foot by 12-foot flag to be located on the southeast side of the Frenchman's Reserve Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse parcel of the Frenchman's Reserve Planned Community Development (PCD) is
generally located on the south side of Grand Comiche, approximately one-half mile east of the
intersection at Hood Road and Alternate AIA
Chair Hansen opened the public hearing.
Petitioner: Nicole Plunkett, Cotleur and Hearing.
Staff Presentation: Planner, Matthew McPherson .
Public comment: None.
Chair Hansen closed the public hearing.
Vice Chair Panczak made a motion to recommend to City Council MISC-17-11 -00013 7 .
Board Member Josephs seconded.
Motion passed 6-0.

2 Board Members welcomed Planning and Zoning Director Natalie Crowley back from maternity
3 leave. Planning and Zoning Director Natalie Crowley thanked Planning Manager Peter Hofbeinz
4 for his hard work while she was out on leave.
