UPDATE ON CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS. 10 Community Services Administrator David Reyes, Deputy Community Services 11 Administrator Angela Brown and City Engineer Tood Engle provided updates on the City 's 12 Capital Improvement Projects. 13 b. EMERGENCY TEXT MESSAGING TO 911 CALL CENTERS. 14 Police Chief Clint Shannon gave a presentation on text messaging to 911 call centers. 15 Mr. Ferris encouraged everyone to visit the Fire Education Trailer and electric cars outside of 16 City Hall. Displayed videos of media coverage of the Cal Ripken State Championship at 17 Gardens Park, Fire Rescue offering free smoke detectors and installation at the Meadows Mobile 18 Home Park, and the City's program switching from Gas to Electric Cars. 19 VIII. ABANDONMENT OF UTILITY 23 EASEMENT. CITY ATTORNEY REPORT 28 City Attorney R. Max Lohman reported that he filed a petition for writ of prohibition to the 4th 29 District Court of Appeals appealing the decision of the Circuit Court regarding the Rustic Lakes 30 Annexation challenge. Discussion ensued. Council Member Litt inquired about the status of the 31 Charter Amendment Lawsuit. City Attorney R. Max Lohman reported the City has been given 32 an extension to file the answer brief in response to the appeal filed by Sid Dinerstein.
