20 A request by Urban Design Studio, agent, on behalf of Health Care Property Investors, Inc.,
21 owner of the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, for approval to allow renovation and
22 expansion of the existing Emergency Department, along with installation of an additional
23 cooling tower. Previously approved phased improvements and parking requirements shown
24 in the master site plan have been clarified and brought into compliance with the Code. The
25 subject site is located on the southeast comer of the intersection of Burns Road and Gardens
26 East Drive.

Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
Petition PUDA- 08 -08- 000019 — Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center
Amendment to the approved Planned Unit Development requesting to
expand its Emergency Department and install an additional cooling tower
Please provide your comments on the subject DRC petition to Stephen Mayer, Senior
Planner, Growth Management Department, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday,
September 10, 2008. Your comments must be forwarded to my attention by that date and
time so that written comments can be given to the applicant in accordance with the
timeframes established in the City's Land Development Code. Should you have no
comments, please indicate so next to your name on the second page and forward this memo
to our office. Additional copies of the complete application are available in the Growth
Management Department.
MEETING DATE:
A Development Review Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008,
at 11:00 a.m. in the Palm Beach Gardens City Council Chambers to review the following
request to allow a minor site plan amendment and minor conditional use:
Petition PUDA- 08 -08- 000019 — Gardens Medical Center Planned Unit Development
Amendment request for expansion of Emergency Department and installation of an
additional cooling tower.
A request by Urban Design Studio, agent, on behalf of Health Care Property Investors,
Inc., owner of the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, for approval to allow
renovation and expansion of the existing Emergency Department, along with
installation of an additional cooling tower. Previously approved phased improvements
and parking requirements shown in the master site plan have been clarified and
brought into compliance with the Code. The subject site is located on the southeast
corner of the intersection of Burns Road and Gardens East Drive.
The applicant will be in attendance at this meeting to answer any questions you may have.
You are requested to please review this request and attend the meeting if possible.
Receiving your comments prior to the meeting will allow staff time to compile comments
before the meeting to ensure proper direction, LDR requirements, and other pertinent
information being conveyed to the applicant.
