Please provide your comments on the subject DRC petition to Richard Marrero, Senior
Planner, Growth Management Department, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4,
2008. Your comments must be forwarded to my attention by that date and time so that
written comments can be given to the applicant in accordance with the timeframes
established in the City's Land Development Code. Should you have no comments and
recommend approval of the request please indicate so next to your name. Additional copies
of the complete application are available in the Growth Management Department.
MEETING DATE:
A Development Review Committee meeting will be held on Thursday.- November B 2008, at
11:00 a.m. in the Palm Beach Gardens City Council Chambers to review the following
request to allow a minor conditional use:

I have reviewed the Land Development Regulations for the above referenced petition,
and provide the following comments:
Recommend Approval with one Condition:
1. Any future changes to the exterior area of the building including adding
outdoor equipment, or changes or additions to signage that may affect
landscaping shall be reviewed and approved by Forestry Staff.

DATE: OCTOBER 1 S, 2008
The police department has reviewed the applicant's request for approval of a minor conditional use
to allow for a veterinary office within Riverside Commerce Park. The police department
recommends the following conditions be met:
Applicant should take appropriate measures to target harden the suite by installing burglar alarm
door contacts, motion detectors where needed, equip the exterior doors with security hinges and
three point contact doors. The emergency doors with panic hardware should not have exterior door
handles.
The Applicant shall provide photocell sensor engaged "dusk to dawn" lighting above or near
entryways and adjacent sidewalks.
Interiot administrative offices and storage rooms shall be equipped with double cylinder deadbolts
with a bolt projection exceeding one inch to engage the strike sufficiently to prevent spreading.
The police department reserves the right to further comment as the project moves forward ox any
changes, additions, modifications are planned for the site. Please feel free to contact this office with
any questions or planned changes to the submitted site plan.
