PALM BEACH GARDENS POLICE DEPARTMENT SPECIAL OPERATIONS BUREAU INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM TO: RICHARD MARRERO, SENIOR PLANNER FROM: OFFICER MULES BARONE SUBJECT: RIVERSIDE COMMERCE PARK PETITION CUMN-08- 10-0000 10 DATE: OCTOBER 1 S, 2008 The police department has reviewed the applicant's request for approval of a minor conditional use to allow for a veterinary office within Riverside Commerce Park. The police department recommends the following conditions be met: Applicant should take appropriate measures to target harden the suite by installing burglar alarm door contacts, motion detectors where needed, equip the exterior doors with security hinges and three point contact doors. The emergency doors with panic hardware should not have exterior door handles. The Applicant shall provide photocell sensor engaged "dusk to dawn" lighting above or near entryways and adjacent sidewalks. Interiot administrative offices and storage rooms shall be equipped with double cylinder deadbolts with a bolt projection exceeding one inch to engage the strike sufficiently to prevent spreading. The police department reserves the right to further comment as the project moves forward ox any changes, additions, modifications are planned for the site.
