6 The regular meeting was called to order at 5:37 p.m. by Vice Chair Cable Neuhaus.

17 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
18 Diane Cappella made a motion to approve the April 21, 2009 minutes.
19 Myra Davis seconded.
20 Motion passed, 7 -0.
21 VI. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON
22 None.
23 VII. UPDATE BY STAFF LIAISON
24 Staff Liaison Irwin reported the flyover art is under discussion by the City Attorney and the
25 artist's attorney at this time. The Emergency Operations Communications Center (EOCC)
26 mandatory pre -bid meeting will be held May 21, 2009 in council chambers.
27 David Porter expressed the interest of the AIPP board members in being involved early on in
28 planning for art work on the outside of the EOCC building and stated the arc account does have
29 funds available.
30 Assistant Staff Liaison Black stated the bus shelter call to artists was not published because the
31 City's attorney is not yet satisfied with the document, but a June 1, 2009 issue date is possible.

35 Art for Legends at the Gardens MXD PUD — Walzreens at (AIPP -09 -01 -000023)

38 David Porter made a motion for approval of the art.
39 Deane Cappella seconded.
