6 The regular meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Bonvento.

10 PRESENT: Chair Bruce Bonvento, Vice Chair Valerie Fennon, Mary Anne Hedrick, Shelly
11 Roe, Kelly Rogers, Andrew Heim, Matthew Zudans (sitting in for Carol Dutra-Ellis).
12 ABSENT: Carol Dutra-Ellis.

14 Leisure Services Administrator, Charlotte Presensk:y, Community Services Administrator/Director

16 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS
17 None.
18 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES from the October 15, 2018 meeting.
19 Board Member Roe made a motion to approve the October 15, 2018 minutes.
20 Board Member Heim seconded.
21 Motion passed 6-0.
22 VI. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
23 Leisure Services Administrator, Charlotte Presensky
24 A. Winter/Spring Events, Gardens Life Brochure
25 Leisure Services Administrator, Charlotte Presensky gave a presentation for the upcoming
26 Recreation Department Winter and Spring events in the Gardens Life Brochure. Discussion
27 ensued. Introduced Operations Manager Monette Preston to the Board; Announced Board Member
28 Rogers is now the Executive Director of the Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association.
29 VII. OLD BUSINESS
30 A. City Parks Capital Improvement Proiect Update
31 Community Services Administrator/Director of Emen:;ency Management David Reyes
32 provided an update on the City Parks Capital Improvement Projects. Discussion ensued.
33 VIII. NEW BUSINESS
34 A. The Gardens District Park Cornerstone Unveiling
35 Leisure Services Administrator, Charlotte Presensky informed the board that The Gardens
36 District Park Cornerstone Unveiling will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
3 7 Discussion ensued.
3 8 B. Miracle League of the Palm Beaches
39 Leisure Services Administrator Charlotte Presensky provided a video on the Miracle League
40 Exhibition Game at Gardens Park on Saturday, January 25, 2019.
41 C. Tennis Center Award -Member On:;anization of the Year
42 Leisure Services Administrator Charlotte Presensky announced that the Palm Beach Gardens
43 Tennis Center won the United States Tennis Association Member Organiz.ation of the Year
44 award and provided members with a video of the award presentation.
45 D. Wheelchair and Adaptive Tennis Programs
46 Tennis Center Operations Manager Wendy Tatum gave a brief presentation on the
47 WheelChair Tennis Program and Adaptive Program at the Tennis Center. Discussion ensued.
