6 The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Tory Buckley.
7 I. CALL TO ORDER

10 PRESENT: Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Tim Frohling, Carolyn Chaplik, Mary Anne
11 Hedrick, Amie Schneider, William Sonnenreich, Ernest Volonte.
12 ABSENT: None.
13 ALSO PRESENT: Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Mike Kelly, Recreation Superintendent,
14 Alternate Staff Liaison, Tim Kasher.
15 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS

17 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
18 William Sonnenreich made a motion to approve the January 26, 2009 minutes.
19 Carolyn Chaiplik seconded.
20 Motion passed 7 -0.
21 Caroku Chap lik made a motion to approve the February 23, 2009 minutes.
22 Ernest Volonte seconded.
23 Motion passed 7 -0.
24 V1. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON
25 None.
26 VII. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
27 Staff Liaison Kelp announced the Great American Clean Up will be held April 18, 2009 at Plant
28 Drive/Lilac Street Park and the area around Palm Beach Gardens High School.
29 VIII. OLD BUSINESS
30 Alternate Liaison Tim Kasher presented a third option for parking at Plant Drive/Lilac Street Park
31 and discussed the proposed basketball court.
32 Staff Liaison Mike Kelly announced plans for the City's 50th Anniversary events.
33 IX. NEW BUSINESS
34 None.
35 X. UPDATES
36 Staff Liaison Kelly announced the upcoming concert at the Eissey Theater, the March 28, 2009
37 pool opening, and Step Up to Health program beginning this summer.
38 Alternate Liaison Kasher reported on Parks status and upcoming events.
39 XI. COMMENTS BY PUBLIC

41 XH. COMMENTS BY BOARD
42 Staff Liaison Kelly announced a status for recreational impact fees for Briger is not available at this
