Thank you to Twisted Trunk for our special Summer 24 Crush brew that premiered. On July 10, 2019, welcomed the residents and staff of La Posada to 25 Fire Station 65 where they presented our firefighters with teddy bears in honor of the Firefighters' 26 Teddy Bear Cares Program and Teddy Bear Picnic Day. CITY MANAGER REPORT: 39 Purchasing Department has earned a re-accreditation from the National Institute of Government 40 Procurement as an outstanding agency. The award recognizes the excellence in public 41 procurement. Km! Ra, Purchasing and Contracts Director was presented with an achievement 42 award certificate and award. 43 On June 20, 2019, ChamberofCommerce.org ranked the City of Palm Beach Gardens as the top 44 number one city to live in within the entire state of Florida. 45 In May 2019, the South Florida Law Enforcement agencies including Palm Beach Gardens, 46 participated in a countywide emergency training program called Operation Heat Shield III.
