CALL TO ORDER 8 H. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 9 III. ROLL CALL 10 Members Present: Chair Craig Kunkle, Vice Chair Douglas Pennell, Randolph Hansen, Joy 11 Hecht, Barry Present, Michael Panczak, Amir Kanel. 12 Members Absent: None. 13 Also Present: Planning Manager Natalie Wong, City Attorney R. Max Lohman, Director of 14 Engineering Max Bosso, Planner Martin Schneider. 15 IV. ADDITIONS. DELETIONS AND MODIFICATIONS 16 None. 17 V. REPORT BY KARA IRWIN. GROWTH MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR 18 Planning Manager Natalie Wong reported the Northcorp Master Signage Program and Legacy 19 Place banners were postponed to the July 16, 2009 City Council meeting; the City Council 20 requested a public workshop in October to discuss special events, outdoor seating and temporary 21 signage codes; a Budget Workshop will be held June 15, 2009; SB 360 passed. 22 VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23 Michael Panczak made a motion for approval of the April 14, 2009 meeting minutes. 24 Vice Chair Pennell seconded. 25 Motion passed 7 -0. 26 Michael Panczak made a motion for approval of the May 12, 2009 meeting minutes. 27 Vice Chair Pennell seconded. 28 Motion passed 7 -0. 29 VII. PUBLIC HEARINGS 30 All those preparing to give testimony were sworn in. 31 No ex parte communication was declared. 32 RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL 33 1. Ex Parte Communication (Public Hearing) 34 Petition SPLA -07 -08- 000007: Downtown at the Gardens Request to modw approved site 35 plan. Don Hearing, agent for Downtown at the Gardens Associates, LTD., is requesting approval 36 for modification of the approved site plan for Downtown at the Gardens to replace the most 37 current shared parking analysis with parking regulations from City code; to revise the lake area 38 stage plan; and provide a service court screening plan. The site is located north of Kyoto Gardens 39 Drive, east of Alternate A 1 A, south of Gardens Boulevard, and west of the Landmark and 40 Garden Pointe developments. 41 The following individuals commented on this agenda item: Donaldson Hearing, Cotleur & Hearing; 42 Planning Manager Natalie Wong; City Attorney R. Max Lohman. 43 Chair Kunkle opened the public hearing. 44 All those preparing to give testimony were sworn in. 45 The following individuals made public comment on this agenda item: Carolyn Chaplik, Hudson 46 Bay Drive, Palm Beach Gardens. 47 Chair Kunkle closed the public hearing.
