ROLL CALL 9 PRESENT: Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Tim Frohlin g, Jim Amsler, Amie Schneider, William 10 Sonnenreich, Ernest Volonte. 11 ABSENT: Howard Nass. 12 ALSO PRESENT: Staff Liaison Mike Kelly; Altern ate Staff Liaison Tim Kasher. 13 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS 14 None. 15 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 16 William Sonnenreich made a motion to approve the September 21, 2009 minutes. 17 Ernest Volonte seconded. 18 Motion passed 6-0. 19 VI. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON 20 None . 21 VII. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON 22 Staff Liaison Kelly reported new board o fficers will be elected, meeting dates for th e upcoming year and 23 a review of Ordinance 35, 2009 w ill take place at the November 16, 20 09 meeting. The Gree n Market will 24 open for the season on Su nday, October 25, 2009. 25 Agreement was reached by board members to change the meeting time from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 26 VIII. OLD BUSINESS 27 Staff Liaison Kelly and Alternate Staff Liaison Kasher reported on the upcomi ng November 21, 2009 28 50th Anniversary celebration, Lilac Park and Gardens Park. 29 IX. NEW BUSINESS 30 Staff Liaison Kelly reported the Art in Public Places Advisory Bo ard and Parks and Recreation Advisory 31 Board joint meeting will be held Monday, December 7, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. 32 X. Religions of Our City Parks and recreation Schools of Our City (private - public) Housing Developments of Our City (plats - gated communities) Commercial Developments of the City (shopping centers - malls) Transportation elements. (Airport, 1-95, etc.) Athletic Programs in the City (Khory league - PBGYAA) Special events that occurred in the City (Hetzel Pageant, World Cup, Ryder Cup, Citizens Tennis tournament, the one day house, TV programs, etc.) CityAwards Volunteer Organizations of the City (Firemen -Woman’s club) Service organizations.
