The joint meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m. by City Clerk Patricia Snider.
I. CALL TO ORDER

PRESENT: Art in Public Places Advisory Board (AIPP) Vice Chair Cable Neuhaus, David
Porter, Susan Tornabene (First. Alternate sitting for Lee Bickford), Dianne Sacchetti (Second
Alternate sitting for Ellen Dukes).
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (RAB) Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Timothy Frohling,
Carolyn Chaplik, Ernest Volonte.
ABSENT: Diane Cappella (AIPP), Jennifer O'Brien (AIPP), Mary Anne Hedrick (RAB),
Arnie Schneider (RAB), William Sonnenreich (RAB).
ALSO PRESENT: Councilmember, Council Liaison Eric Jablin; Councilmember, Council
Liaison Jody Barnett; Growth Management Administrator, Staff Liaison Kara Irwin; Recreation
Director, Staff Liaison Mike Kelly.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ernest Volonte made a motion to approve the August 10, 2009 meeting minutes.
Timothy Frohline seconded.
Motion passed 8 -0.
V. LAKE CATHERINE PARK PROPOSED STRUCTURE/HISTORICAL WALK
a. Sketches of Design Concept
David Porter presented the AIPP concepts.
b. Draft Call to Artist
The defined area/quantity, budget and selection criteria were discussed.
VI. COMMENTS BY THE PUBLIC
Lou Satriano, Lakemont Court, Palm Beach Gardens; Raymond Katz, Sun Terrace Court,
Palm Beach Gardens; Carol Estrada, Riverside Drive, Palm Beach Gardens.
VII. COMMENTS BY THE BOARD
