6 The regular meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chair Tory Buckley.

10 PRESENT: Chair Tory Buckley, Vice Chair Tim Frohling, Jim Amsler, Amie Schneider, William
11 Sonnenreich, Ernest Volonte.
12 ABSENT: Howard Nass.
13 ALSO PRESENT: Staff Liaison Mike Kelly; Alternate Staff Liaison Tim Kasher.
14 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS
15 None.
16 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
17 William Sonnenreich made a motion to approve the September 21, 2009 minutes.
Is Ernest Volonte seconded.

20 VI. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON
21 None.
22 VIL ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
23 Staff Liaison Kelly reported new board officers will be elected, meeting dates for the upcoming year and
24 a review of Ordinance 35, 2009 will take place at the November 16, 2009 meeting. The Green Market will
25 open for the season on Sunday, October 25, 2009.
26 Agreement was reached by board members to change the meeting time from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
27 VIII. OLD BUSINESS
28 Staff Liaison Kelly and Alternate Staff Liaison Kasher reported on the upcoming November 21, 2009
29 50th Anniversary celebration, Lilac Park and Gardens Park.
30 IX. NEW BUSINESS
31 Staff Liaison Kelly reported the Art in Public Places Advisory Board and Parks and Recreation Advisory
32 Board joint meeting will be held Monday, December 7, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers.
33 X. STAFF UPDATES
34 Alternate Staff Liaison Kasher reported on the parks and recreation event updates. Discussion ensued.
