6 The regular meeting was called to order at 5:33 p.m. by Chair Charles Millar.

10 PRESENT: Chair Charles Millar, Vice Chair Robert Koo, Marci Bulitt, Vincent Cassanetti,
11 Ilene Gerber, Amy Mauser, Zaven Kazandjian.
12 ABSENT: None.
13 ALSO PRESENT: Senior Planner, Staff Liaison, Dawn Sonneborn.
14 IV. BOARD APPOINTMENTS
15 A. Appointment of Chair
16 Board Member Cassnetti nominated Charles Millar for Chair.
17 Vice Chair Koo seconded.
18 Nomination passed 7-0.
19 B. Appointment of Vice Chair
20 Chair Millar nominated Robert Koo for Vice Chair.
21 Board Member Gerber seconded.
22 Nomination passed 7-0.
23 V. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS
24 None.
25 VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES from the October 30, 2018 meeting.
26 Board Member Mauser made a motion to approve the October 30, 2018 Minutes.
27 Vice Chair Koo seconded.
28 Motion passed 7-0.
29 VII.ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
30 Senior Planner, Staff Liaison Dawn Sonneborn
31 Senior Planner Dawn Sonneborn reported there is $755,541.00 in the Art Impact Fund.
32 VIII. OLD BUSINESS
33 Senior Planner, Dawn Sonneborn gave a presentation on the different Art In Public Places
34 Projects that have been completed recently in the City.
35 IX. NEW BUSINESS
36 A. PGA Station Site Hotel — AIPP-18-01-000046
37 Petitioner: Nicole Plunkett, Cotleur and Hearing.
38 Staff Presentation: None. Staff recommends approval of AIPP- 18-01-000046
39 Public Comment: None.
40 Board Member Mauser made a motion to recommend AIPP-18-01-000046 to City Council.
41 Board Member Bulitt seconded.
42 Motion passed 5-2
43 Vice Chair Koo and Board Member Cassanetti opposed.
44 X. COMMENTS BY THE PUBLIC

XI. COMMENTS BY THE BOARD
Board Member Kazandiian inquired about modification to the Contiguous Currents artwork on
the west side of City Hall and the entrance sign on the southeast corner of PGA Blvd and the
Florida Turnpike. Discussion ensued.
Board Member Gerber expressed concerns regarding the choice of artist available to
developers in the City for Art in Public Places Projects. Discussion ensued.
XII. SELECT NEXT QUARTERLY MEETING DATE
The Board unanimously selected September 17, 2019.

I XIII. ADJOURNMENT
2 Vice Chair Koo made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
3 Board Member Bullitt seconded.
4 Motion passed 7-0.
5 Chair Millar adjourned the meeting at 6:25 p.m.
6 The next meeting will be held September 17, 2019. (The September 17, 2019 meeting was
7 cancelled, and the next regular meeting will be held on March 11, 2021).

9 APPROVED: As there were no petitions to present to the Board, the last meeting held was
10 April 16, 2019. Since that time, six members have left the Board due to term limits and one (1)
I 1 death, therefore the only member to sign these minutes is Amy Mauser.
