6 The regular meeting was called to order at 5 :22 p.m. by Chair L. Marc Cohn.

9 PRESENT: Chair L. Marc Cohn, Bernard Pettingill, Kenneth Menard, Phillip A. Woodall.
10 ABSENT: None.
11 ALSO PRESENT: Councilmember, Council Liaison Robert Premuroso; Finance
12 Administrator, Staff Liaison Allan Owens; Deputy Finance Administrator, Alternate Star
13 Liaison Mary Anderson- Pickle.

16 IV, APPROVAL OF MINUTES
17 Bernard Pettinaill made a motion for approval of the June 25, 2009 minutes.
18 Kenneth Menard seconded.
19 Motion passed 4 -0.
20 V. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON
21 Councilmember. Council Liaison Robert Premuroso reported the City Council approved a
22 tentative maximum millage rate of 5.39 for fiscal year 2009/2010 at the July 16, 2009 meeting.
23 VI. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
24 Finance Administrator Owens reported the status of the fiscal year 2009/2010 budget.
25 Chair L. Marc Cohn will prepare a written report and present a summary to the City Council on
26 September 10, 2009.
27 Ken Menard made a motion recommending the millage rate no lower than 5.39.
28 Bernard Pettin ' l seconded.
29 Motion passed 4 -0.
30 VII. OLD BUSINESS

32 VIII. NEW BUSINESS
33 Chair L. Marc Cohn discussed the Economic Development Fund.
34 Committee members agreed to table electing a vice chair at this time and placing the item on the
35 August 27, 2009 agenda.
