6 The regular meeting was called to order at 8:32 a.m. by Chair L. Marc Cohn.
7 I. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

9 PRESENT: Chair L. Marc Cohn, Bernard Pettingill, Kenneth Menard, Phillip A. Woodall.
10 ABSENT: None.
11 ALSO PRESENT: Councilmember, Council Liaison Robert Premuroso; Finance
12 Administrator, Staff Liaison Allan Owens.

15 IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

17 V. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON

19 VI. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
20 Staff Liaison Owens presented the Budget Oversight Committee report to be presented to the
21 City Council. Bernard Pe_ttineill will prepare a PowerPoint" presentation.
22 VII. OLD BUSINESS
23 Kenneth Menard nominated Phifflip Woodall for Vice Chair, which he declined.
24 Chair Cohn nominated Kenneth Menard for Vice Chair.
25 Bernard Pettin seconded.
26 Motion passed, 4 -0.
27 VIII. NEW BUSINESS
28 Council Liaison Premuroso suggested committee members (remain involved with the budget
29 process during the break and e-mail any suggestion to Allan Owens.
30 Chair Cohn suggested a meeting on January 28, 2010; all agreed.
31 Staff Liaison Owens reported that a Resolution or Ordinance must be established by December
32 31, 2009 for a solid waste collection assessment to be included in the FY 2010/2011 budget.
33 Staff Liaison Owens explained the error on the recent property tax notice.
