6 1. CALL TO ORDER
7 The regular meeting was called to order at 8:35 a.m. by Chair L. Marc Cohn.

10 PRESENT: Chair L. Marc Cohn, Vice Chair Kenneth Menard, Brandon Dorsey, Bernard
11 Pettingill, Phillip A. Woodall.
12 ABSENT: None.
13 ALSO PRESENT: Councilmember, Council Liaison Robert Premuroso; Finance
14 Administrator, Staff Liaison Allan Owens, Deputy Finance Administrator, Alternate Staff
15 Liaison Mary Anderson- Pickle.
16 Allan Owens announced that each board member had received a copy of Ordinance 35, 2009.
17 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS

19 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
20 Kenneth Menard made a motion for approval of the July 30, 2009 and August 28, 2009
21 minutes.
22 Bernard PettinM seconded.
23 Motion passed 5 -0.
24 VI. ITEMS BY COUNCIL LIAISON.
25 Councilmember Premuroso discussed Budget Oversight Committee revenue suggestions that
26 were made to the Council, but declined.
27 Kenneth Menard nominated L. Marc Cohn for Chair.
28 Bernard Pettingill seconded.
29 Motion passed 5 -0.
30 Bernard Pettineill nominated Kenneth Menard for Vice Chair.
31 Phillip Woodall seconded.
32 Motion passed 5 -0.
33 VII. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON

37 IX. NEW BUSINESS
38 Discussion ensued regarding the current property tax situation and aspects of the upcoming
39 budget. Suggestions were made for City - sponsored revenue - raising events and bringing new
40 types of businesses to the City.

44 Each board member introduced himself and gave a brief description of his background.
