SUBJECT: Development Review Committee (DRC) Meeting for Petition SPLA- 09 -11- 000016 on
Thursday, December 10, 2009, at 2:00 p.m.
Please provide your comments on the subject DRC petition no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8,
2009. Your comments must be forwarded to my attention by that date and time so that written comments can be
given to the applicant in accordance with the timeframes established in the City's Land Development Code.
Should you have no comments, please indicate so in a memo. Additional copies of the complete application are
available in the Growth Management Department.
MEETING DATE:
A Development Review Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at 2:00 n.m. in the
Palm Beach Gardens City Council Chambers to review the following request:
Petition SPLA- 09 -11- 000016 — Frenchman's Creek Clubhouse:
A request by Jennifer Tighe, on behalf of Frenchman's Creek, Inc., owners of the site, requesting
approval of a Site Plan Amendment (SPLA) for the clubhouse located within the Frenchman's Creek
Planned Community Development (PCD). The Frenchman's Creek PCD is located east of Alternate AIA
and south of Donald Ross road, and contains 644 dwelling units, two (2) gold courses, a clubhouse, and
marina.
The proposed site plan amendment would allow the addition of 9,610 square feet addition to the east side
of the clubhouse, and reconfiguring of the loading dock and adjacent parking area. The application also
includes a waiver request for the number of required parking spaces.
The proposed clubhouse addition is two (2) stories in height, and will include storage areas, offices, a
flower shop, employee dinning room kitchen, restrooms, and meeting rooms. No additional clubhouse
members, homes, or employees are proposed with this amendment.
