Rosemary Avenue, Suite 225 West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 561.366.1100 Brief Property Description: Legacy Place is an integrated mixed -use development consisting of 399,000 square feet of retail space, 69,000 square feet of office space and 384 apartment homes. Located at the southeast corner of PGA Boulevard and Victoria Gardens Avenue, Legacy Place is designed to serve as a major "gathering spot" for City residents and visitors alike and provides for a variety of urban experiences within a traditionally suburban context. The site features a system of pedestrian - friendly streets, lakeside cafes and plazas that incorporate a beautiful mix of landscape, hardscape and "Art in Public Places" to provide guests with a comfortable atmosphere for both short and extended visits. The landscape concept is a celebration of Florida's vernacular of native and non- native species. The project's entry portals feature grand alleles of specimen palms, flowering trees and oak trees. Through the use of a variety of plant material, Legacy Place creates various planting palettes as reinforcement to wayfinding throughout the center. This is done by the planting of unique palms in each parking areas which create a specific character to each area. In addition, special places have been created which give identity to different areas of the project. The Main Street landscape concept is reinforced through specialty paving and landscaping to define this special corridor. The specification of palms allows the tropical feel while allowing views to the retail buildings. Buffer planting shield views of parked cars while the internal littoral planting adorns retention ponds and lakes. The use of color and texture of the planting also creates contrast while serving the functional use of buffering. Each of these different concepts crystallizes to create a unique and special environment at Legacy Place. Military Trail Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 About PGA National Resort & Spa: Reinvented in 2009 and originally opened in 1981, PGA National Resort & Spa is the premiere South Florida golf vacation and meeting destination. The legendary 379 -room resort recently completed a $65 million comprehensive revitalization, including a completely new front entrance, outdoor pool and pavilion, new Ironwood Grille and Bar, as well as enhanced public areas, golf courses and landscaping. PGA National Resort & Spa offers 90 holes of championship golf on five courses, including the famed Champion course, home to the PGA Tour's Honda Classic and past host of the Ryder Cup, PGA Championship and a litany of other prized professional golf tournaments. Other distinguishing features include a 40,000 square -foot European Spa with 32 treatment areas and the exclusive "Waters of the World" outdoor mineral pools, a world -class 33,000 square -foot health and racquet club with 19 Har Tru tennis courts, 39,000 square feet of self- contained conference space and seven on -site restaurants and lounges. PGA National Resort & Spa Beautification Award Detail The landscaping at PGA National Resort & Spa has been greatly enhanced in and around the resort grounds. The Spa and the new pool deck have been designed to please every member and guest that comes to the resort. By adding landscaping that is native to Florida with a wide variety of trees, palms, shrubs, pines and flowering annuals add color to the surroundings. On the five golf courses, the landscaping is being continuously enhanced and improved. A tree planting program has been implemented to replace those that have been lost in the hurricanes that have passed through Palm Beach Gardens over the years. Through the entire PGA National Resort & Spa property the landscaping thrives to provide a wonderful habitat for a wide variety of wildlife. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of an endangered and protected bird species out on the golf courses in these protected areas, as well as a number of other wildlife that calls PGA National home. Another way that we are enhancing the golf courses is by planting bedding plants in and around the five courses. With the different times of the year come different types of vegetation to enhance the resort and golf courses. This variety creates a unique experience for our members and resort guests. Some of the courses also display flowering baskets and containers as does the area around the pro shop. The patio outside the 19' Hole Restaurant and the outside the of the Member's Club and golf cart staging area have also been improved by the addition of flowering baskets.
