6 The special meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. by Mayor Lew.
7 I. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
8 II. NATIONAL ANTHEM PERFORMED BY SAMARA JORDAN TINSLEY
9 Mayor Lew introduced Samara Tinsley, who sang the National Anthem. Mayor Lew
10 announced the passing of former Town of Mangonia Park Mayor Gale English and requested
11 a moment of silence.
12 III. ROLL CALL
13 PRESENT: Mayor David Levy, Vice Mayor Robert Premuroso, Councilmember Joseph Russo,
14 Councilmember Eric Jablin, Councilmember Marcie Tinsley.
15 ABSENT: None.

20 VI. ELECTION
21 a. RESOLUTION 12 2011 — DECLARING RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION. A
22 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS,
23 FLORIDA DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON
24 MARCH 8,2011; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
25 The City Clerk read Resolution 12, 2011 by title.
26 Councilmember Russo made a motion for approval Resolution 12, 2011.
27 Councilmember Jablin seconded.
28 Motion passed 5 -0.
.29 b. ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE
30 City Clerk Snider administered the Oath of Office to Vice Mayor Premuroso,
31 Councilmember Jablin and Councilmember Tinsley.
32 VII. ITEMS OF RESIDENT INTEREST AND BOARD /COMMITTEE REPORTS
33 Councilmember Tinsley announced the William T. Dwyer High School Boys Basketball Team
34 won the State Class 5A Championship, the upcoming Grillin' in the Gardens and Dancing Under
35 the Stars events and the March 23, 2011 PGA Corridor Association, Inc. meeting. Vice Mayor
36 Premuroso requested and received City Council consensus for a banner to be posted on Military
37 Trail honoring the William T. Dwyer High School Boys Basketball Team. Councilmember
38 Jablin commended the Recreation Department for their work on the City's special events.
39 Councilmember Russo thanked everyone for their contributions to the Honda Classic. Mayor
40 Lem acknowledged the following meeting attendees: Village of Royal Palm Beach former
41 Mayor David Ludwig; Town of Juno Beach Mayor Mort Levine, Vice Mayor Bill Greene,
42 Vice Mayor Pro Tem Ellen Andel, Councilmember John Callaghan, Councilmember Jim
43 Lyons, Town Manager Joseph LoBello and Acting Police Chief Brian Smith; Town of
44 Jupiter Mayor Karen Golonka, Vice Mayor Wendy Harrison, Councilor Jim Kuretski,
45 Councilor Todd Wodraska, Councilor Robert Friedman, Town Manager Andrew Lukasik,
46 Assistant Town Manager Anne Lyons and Police Chief Frank Kitzerow and City of Palm

a. ORDINANCE 6. 2011 — (2nd READING AND ADOPTION) AMENDING THE FISCAL
YEAR 2010/2011 BUDGET. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2010/2011
BUDGET TO ESTABLISH THE NORTHERN MUNICIPAL REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS CENTER; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE AND A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
The City Clerk read Ordinance 6, 2011 by title.
Presentation by: Finance Administrator Allan Owens.
Mayor Lew opened the public hearing.
Public Comment: None.
Mayor Lew closed the public hearing.
Councilmember Jablin made a motion for approval of Ordinance 6, 2011 on second reading
and adoption.
Councilmember Russo seconded.
Motion passed 5 -0.
