6 The regular meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by Vice Chair Wunderlich.
7 I. CALL TO ORDER

10 PRESENT: Vice Chair Bobby Wunderlich, Keith Ahronheim, Matthew Kamula, Jason Moraes,
11 Nicholas Russo, Matthew Zudans, and First Alternate Ron McElhone.
12 ABSENT: Chair Kelly Rogers.
13 ALSO PRESENT:
14 Leisure Services Administrator, Charlotte Presensky; Staff Liaison, Deputy Leisure Services
15 Administrator, Daniel Prieto; Director of Public Services, Cory Wilder; Operations Manager Leisure
16 Services, Monette Preston; Operations Manager Athletics, Tim Ford; Operations Manager, David
17 Swain; and Recreation Supervisor, Amy Stepper.
18 IV. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS
19 None.
20 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES from the October 31, 2022, meeting.
21 Board Member Kamula made a motion to approve the October 31, 2022, minutes.
22 Board Member Ahronheim seconded.
23 Motion passed 7-0.
24 VI. ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
25 Deputy Leisure Services Administrator, Daniel Prieto presented an overview of the Recreation's
26 Department Annual Report for fiscal year 2022.
27 A. Winter/Spring Events
28 Operations Manager Leisure Services, Monette Preston discussed the winter and spring
29 community events, including the holiday festivities, the Gardens GreenMarket 21' Anniversary
30 celebration, activities for Black History Month in February and Autism Awareness Month in April,
31 the Community Concert Series, the Sweetheart Dance, and the Glow with the Flow Easter Egg Hunt.
32 VII. OLD BUSINESS
33 A. Capital Improvement Plan Update
34 Deputy Leisure Services Administrator, Daniel Prieto provided an update on the Main Pool
35 Project and the Joseph R. Russo Pickleball Expansion Project.
36 B. GardensArt Program Update
37 Recreation Supervisor, Amy Stepper presented an update on the GardensArt Program including
38 the rotating art exhibits in City buildings, GardensArt artist demonstrations at the GreenMarket, the
39 Veterans Golf Tournament art donations, the Adult Art Student Exhibition and the Teen Art
40 Exhibition, adult class offerings and the planning for summer Camp Gardens.
41 VIII. NEW BUSINESS
42 A. Sport Tourism — Economic Development Report
43 Operations Manager Athletics, Tim Ford provided an overview of the Economic Development
44 Report with figures reported by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. Recent events
45 highlighted include the World Pickleball Open, the 30 Live National Championships, "Little Mo"
46 Internationals, and the Development Player League (DPL) Winter Showcase as well as the influence
47 of Cressey Sports Performance training facility.

I B. Annual Field Closure Schedule
2 Director of Public Services, Cory Wilder presented the 2023 Field Maintenance Closure Schedule.

7 XI. SET QUARTERLY MEETING DATE
8 The Board selected April 17, 2023, as the next quarterly meeting date.

2 Board Member Russo made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
3 Board Member Ahronheim seconded.
4 Motion passed 7-0.
5 Vice Chair Wunderlich adjourned the meeting at 2:39 p.m.
