SUBJECT: The Green Turtle Car Wash — Requesting a site plan amendment and minor conditional
use approval for the addition of a car wash at the LA Fitness Plaza at the southwest
corner of PGA Boulevard and the Florida Turnpike (Petitions SPLA- 11 -09- 000027 &
CUMN- 11 -09- 000022).
MEETING DATE:
A Development Review Committee meeting will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2 :00 p.m.,
in the City Council Chambers to review the following development applications:
SPLA- 11 -09- 000027
Request for approval of a site plan amendment to allow a car wash within the LA Fitness Plaza.
CUMN- 11 -09- 000022
Request for approval of a minor conditional use to allow a car wash within the LA Fitness
Plaza.
Petitions No. SPLA- 11 -09- 000027 & CUMN- 11 -09- 000022
Please provide your comments on the subject DRC petitions to me by no later than 5:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Your comments must be forwarded to my attention (Attn: Jim Golden
Ogolden @pbgfl.com) by the above date and time in order to provide written comments to the applicant
in accordance with the timeframes established in the City's Land Development Regulations. Should
you have no comments, please send me an e-mail to that effect for the record. Additional copies
of the application are available in the Planning & Zoning Department. Thank you for your attention to
this matter.
The applicant will be in attendance at this meeting. Our office requests your participation in the
review of this project. Please review this request and attend the meeting if possible. Receiving your
comments prior to the meeting will provide staff with the ability to give proper direction to the
applicant.
