6 I. CALL TO ORDER
7 The regular meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Chair Tim Frohling,
8 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
9 M. ROLL CALL
to PRESENT: Chair Tim Frohling, Jim Amsler, Howard Nass, Vice Chair Arnie Schneider, William
I 1 Sonnenreich, Tory Buckley (First Alternate sitting for former member William Olsen).
12 ABSENT: None.
13 ALSO PRESENT: Recreation Director, Staff Liaison Tim Kasher, Operations Manager Justin Lucas.
14 Operations Coordinator Laura Schuppert.
15 IV. ADDITIONS DELETIONS, AND MODWICATIONS
16 Chair Tim Frohling asked for a moment of silence in memory of William Olsen.
17 V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
18 William Sonnenreich made a motion for approval of the May 16, 2011 minutes.
19 Jim Amsler seconded.
20 Motion passed 6 -0.
21 VL ITEMS BY STAFF LIAISON
22 Staff Liaison Tim Kasher offered condolences for William Olsen.
23 VIL OLD BUSINESS
24 1. Lilac Park Construction Status
25 Staff Liaison Tim Kasher reported one section is open, provided timeline for project and walking trail is
26 extended to one mile.
27 2. City Park Master Planning
28 Staff Liaison Tim Kasher reported on impact Fees for the project and invited members off the dais to
29 review the aerial photo and provided cut outs to become overlays on the board.
30 3_ Parks and Recreation Ordinance Changes.
31 Discussion ensued.
32 Tory Buckley made a motion to approve the Parks and Recreation Ordinance Changes as presented.
33 William Sonnenreich seconded.
34 Motion passed 6 -0_
