EDUCATION ADVISORY BOARD
MEETING MINUTES
November 14, 2001
The November 14, 2001, regular meeting of the City of Palm Beach Gardens
Education Advisory Board was held in the City Council Chambers of the
Municipal Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The roll was called and the following members were found to be in attendance:
Wayne Anderson, Ilene Gerber, John Gardner, Judith Hanrahan, Murt Kakli,
James Panoch, Jan Porter, Ron Sadaka, and Helen Zientek. City Council
Liaison Vice Mayor Eric Jablin arrived at 7:30 p.m. Student Julie Hackman was
present. Student Kelly Kirschbaum arrived at 7:20 p.m.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
The guest speaker for the meeting provided an overview of the operation of the
Palm Beach County School District and discussed their budget and ways of
dealing with a possible shortfall in funding for new schools.
Reports were provided by the members responsible for committee reports and
attendance at SAC meetings.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned.
