Parks and Recreation Programs
• Wonderful programs in all areas. "Inside, acquatic, sports"
• The problem noted on the sports side - the number of people has outgrown the
facilities.
• Need to look into how to address the "wants, needs, and desires" of the
facilities, not just for today, but for the future.
• In order to get the immediate needs and plan for the future we need to look at
is all the facilities that the need and how we as staff will operate & maintain
Ot
them. We need to take a look at the entire picture of the city, not just today,
but through build -out, and put together a real master plan which would show
us what we need today, what we need for the future, and how we will be able
to afford to build, maintain, repair and replace.
