REGULAR MEETING
September 27, 2004
MINUTES
The Regular Meeting of the Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board of the City of Palm
Beach Gardens, Florida, was called to order by Chair Craig Kunkle at 6:30 P.M. in the
Council Chambers of the Municipal Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach
Gardens, Florida, and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL
Susan Bell, Secretary for the meeting, called the roll for the Planning, Zoning and
Appeals Board:,
Present
Chairman Craig Kunkle
Vice Chairman Barry Present
Douglas Pennell
Randolph Hansen
Michael Panczak
Absent
Joel Channing
Dennis Solomon
Chair Kunkle announced that a quorum was present and that due to circumstances
resulting from two hurricanes, he would entertain a motion to continue the items for this
meeting to October 12, 2004.
MOTION:
Mr. Present made a motion to continue the following items to the meeting of
October 12, 2004. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. The following items were
continued: Public Hearings for:
Petition CU -04 -02 - Conditional Use Approval — Fairway Office Center;
Petition VAR -04 -06 — Rear Setback Variance for Moore Residence at 8193
Damascus Drive, Lot 107, Horseshoe Acres;
Petition VAR -04 -07 — Side Setback Variance for the Shumway Residence at 100
Woodsmuir Court, Lot 130, Preston at PGA National Resort;
Petition PUD -04 -15 — Garden's Station PUD /MXD;
Recommendation to City Council for:
Petition SP -04 -08 — Mirasol PCD — Parcel 17
Petition SP -04 -09 — Mirasol PCD — Parcel 25
Workshop:
Petition SP -04 -14 — Bascom Palmer Eye Institute Site Plan Amendment
The motion carried by unanimous 5 -0 vote.

AJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeti was adjourned. The next regular meeting
will be held October 12, 2004.
