Minutes
The Community Aesthetics Board met on January 3, 2007. The meeting was called to
order by Chairperson Donna Wisneski at 5:31 p.m. in the Council Chambers Conference
Room of the Municipal Complex located at 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach
Gardens, Florida, and was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
I. ROLL CALL
Members Present: Donna Wisneski — Chairperson
William Olsen — Vice Chairperson
Terence Brady
Sherry Levy
Gail Vastola
(I" Alt) — Cable Nuehaus
(2nd Alt) — David Anderson
Members Absent: Richard Sartory.
Also Present: Vice Mayor and Council Liaison, Jody Barnett;
Staff Liaison, Mark Hendrickson; Alternate Staff Liaison, Raymond Carnaci.
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
There were no minutes available for review by the Board at this time.
III. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Donna Wisneski announced her resignation as Chairperson. William Olsen was elected as
new Chairperson and Gail Vastola as new Vice Chairperson. The vote was unanimous.
Richard Sartory, having missed three consecutive meetings, will be dismissed from the
Board. Alternates will be considered for regulars, there are currently two vacancies.
IV. OLD BUSINESS
Arbor Day is January 19, 2007. The Greenmarket tree information and giveaway will
take place on January 21, 2007. Members will donate time on that day to man the booth.
All were in favor. The preferred species list was discussed and it was noted that some
species were not readily available. This list will be reviewed so all species listed will be
available to landscapers.
The Landscape Code was discussed and it was decided that members will survey the
community and return with pictures for review at the next meeting. They will present
pictures of landscapes which they like and dislike for discussion and review at the next
meeting.

V. NEW BUSINESS
Earth Day, The Great American Clean -up will take place April 21, 2007. This will be
organized by Mike Kelly,
VI. COMMENTS BY THE PUBLIC
None were made.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss the meeting adjourned at 6:49 p.m.
