HomeMy WebLinkAboutDRC - 041207 - Cataflumo ConstructionDevelopment Review Committee Meeting Petition CPTA 06 -12- 000008 Catalfumo Construction April 12, 2007 Present at Meeting Brad Wiseman, Planning Manager Scott Fetterman, Fire Marshall Mark Hendrickson, City Forester Officer Jules Barone, Crime Prevention Police Department Jeff Marshall, Catalfumo Construction Judy Dye, Engineering The meeting took place in the Council Chambers of the City of Palm Beach Gardens on Thursday, April 12, 2007, and started at 10:00 a.m. Purpose of the Meeting This Development Review Committee was held at the request of Mr. Jeffery Marshall on behalf of Caltalfumo Construction and Development for approval of a comprehensive plan text amendment to increase the Develop of Regional Impact Threshold, specific to the criteria for office from 300,000 square feet to 600,000 square feet for Parcel 5A and 513, located west of Alternate Al A on the north and south sides of PGA Blvd, east of I -95. State Statue permits local governments with County's of 500,000 residents to designate parcels which are highly suitable for office development to utilize the greater DRI threshold. Comments Brad Wiseman, Planning Manager, opened the meeting. He stated that all submissions from the applicant are acceptable. The applicant does have to get concurrency and go through the review process. Judy Dye, Engineering, had no major issues. Police had no major issues. Fire had no major issues. The applicant stated that the goal of the project is to support the goals of the City with Bioscience and to raise the threshold by designating Parcels 5A and 5B as suitable for development.
