Pension Fund - Trustee Meeting - December 8. 1998
The meeting was called to order by Mark Vadas Chairman at 9:02 A.M. In attendance
were board members Mark Vadas, Steve Parella, Kent Olson and Jack Hanson. The
meeting was called to consider the early retirement request of John DeYounks with
joint and survivors benefits set at 66 2/3 per cent. The motion to approve by Kent
Olson and seconded by Steve Parella received unanimous approval effective on
December 31, 1998. The exact benefit amount will be determined by the actuary
Foster & Foster and upon that verification Jack Hanson will notify SunTrust Bank to
begin the benefit procedure.
A brief interview with Mr. Daniel Hackman to fill the seat vacated by Barbara Byerly
ensued. After Mr. Hackman's departure, the board discussed his candidacy and
qualifications. A motion by Jack Hanson and seconded by Kent Olson to accept and
appoint Mr. Hackman to be board received unanimous approval. The secretary will
notify Mr. Hackman in writing.
Motion to adjourn by Kent Olson and seconded by Jack Hanson. Time of adjournment
was 9:59 A.M.
