GENERAL EMPLOYEES PENSION FUND
Meeting was called to order at 1:55 P.M. on February 24,1997 in the City of
Palm Beach Gardens Council Chambers. In attendance were Board Members
Jack Hanson, Mark Vadas, Steve Parella, Barbara Byerly, Attorney Scott
Christiansen and Hal Chappell - Performance Monitor.
The minutes of the January 13, 1997 meeting were approved with a motion
was made by Steve Parella and seconded by Jack Hanson and a vote of 4 -0.
Hal Chappell gave a report and a discussion was held regarding the report card
for Sun Trust since their inception date of 12/31/93. Hal Chapell announced
that he was leaving his position after the next meeting in May. A motion was
made by Jack Hanson and seconded by Steve Parella to accept the meeting
dates for the following year. Motion passed with a 4 -0 vote. Scott
Christiansen explained the Summary Plan Description and requested that every
one in the Pension Plan receive a copy. The Summary Plan Description packet
was approved, with the name change of Veronica Snyder, and the Operating
Rules and Procedures packet. The motion was made by Jack Hanson and
seconded by Mark Vadas. Motion passed with a 4 -0 vote. Foster & Foster will
be asked to attend the next meeting in May, 1997.
A motion was made by Jack Hanson and seconded by Steve Parella to approve
the bill from Performance Measurement Association. Inc. In the amount of
$1,453.25. Motion passed with 4 -0 vote.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:25 P.M.
