REGULAR MEETING
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
AUGUST 15, 1996
The Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Palm
Beach Gardens, Florida, was called to order by Councilwoman
Monroe at 7:30 P.M. in the Assembly Room of the Municipal
Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida.
ROLL CALT The Deputy City Clerk called the roll and present were
Councilwoman Monroe and Councilman Clark. Mayor Russo, Vice
Mayor Furtado and Councilman Jablin were absent from the
meeting.
Councilwoman Monroe stated that Mayor Russo and Councilman
Jablin were on vacation, and that Vice Mayor Furtado was ill
and therefore, there was no quorum. City Attorney Thomas
Baird stated that under Robert's Rule of Order, the only
business permitted for transaction was to adjourn the meeting
to another meeting date when we expect to have a quorum.
Councilman Clark made a motion to ajourn the meeting to August
20, 1996 at 7:30 p.m., seconded by Councilwoman Monroe.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to discuss, motion was made by
Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Monroe, and
unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 P.M.
