GENERAL EMPLOYEES PENSION FUND
MAY 22, 1995
The meeting was called to order at 4:15. In attendance were
Board members Win Weldon, Jerry Bergman, Jack Hanson and Judy
Fox; Attorney Lee Dehner and members Dana Mack, Mark Vadas and
Emeron Gerg.
Win Weldon assured the members present that there will be no
major changes to this plan.
Jack Hanson mentioned that the City Council had approved Resolu-
tion #44, 1995 preserving this pension plan, and Resolution #43,
1995 adopting a Defined Contribution Plan.
Lee Dehner asked that copies of these resolutions be faxed to
him.
Win Weldon announced his plan to resign from the Board at the
next City Council meeting to be effective June 1, 1995.
Lee Dehner asked that he remain until the Board had revised the
plan.
Win pointed out that there is a discrepancy as to when the Board
Members term expires. Ordinance 9, 1993 which creates the Board
states a 3 year term and was passed July 1, 1993. Resolution 83,
1993 appointing the Board members states a 2 year term of office.
This was passed on July 15, 1993.
Judy Fox will contact Lee Dehner's office to schedule the Quar-
terly meeting next month with Sun Bank, Ward Foster and Hal
Chappell.
Meeting was adjourned at 6:35 PM.
